“The staff at Fox Subacute goes above and beyond the care you would expect to find anywhere else.”
“It’s more than a patient, nurse relationship, you become a great big family.”
“If you come here looking for care, you are going to find it, along with great people. I don’t think I would want to be in another place.”
“Dear Fox Staff, Sorry that it has taken me so long to get this to you. Bill and I had agreed to get this for all of you as a Christmas gift but I forgot to drop it off the day of the party. It has proven to be too difficult for me to walk in there as of yet so I am mailing it to you. Thank you again for the kind, patient care you gave my brother. I am so grateful that he was there for his last few months. I have nothing but praise for all of you. Thank you.” -Alice
“This is a brief note of thanks for the wonderful care that my mother, Ida Grossman, received at the Fox Subacute Center during her three-month stay. Her treatment was outstanding at all levels, not only medically, but also socially, making her feel like a ‘real person’ again. Everyone treated her in a caring and respectful manner, but also with exceptional competence. Honestly, when she arrived at Fox, I was concerned that she was never going to leave. Now, we’re hoping to have her home in the next couple of months.” – Robert A. Grossman, M.D.
“We want to thank you for making Gary’s stay at Fox Subacute the best he has ever had. You were like a family to him. We know. When Gary came to Fox, he was in poor condition, but you healed him, cared about little things such as music, television, etc. – things he could not ask for. Thanks to all of you for making his life comfortable and lovable. God bless you all.” – Gary’s Family
“We can never thank you for all the work you have done for our mother! We just want to thank you for your never-ending service, for always being there, even when we were being difficult. Keep up the excellent work.” – Estelle’s Family
“We have had the misfortune of having my brother in serious cardiac conditions for the past 8 months and having been in different medical facilities from Florida, New Jersey, and then Fox Subacute Center. The care he had in Florida and NJ was tolerable and meaningful, but could not compare with Fox. His last stay before his demise was here at your facility and I want to express our feelings for the superb care from everyone from the maintenance, technicians, management, and especially the nursing staff. You should be proud of your staff for their goodness and caring. We were extremely pleased with the care Leo received. Although the outcome was not what we had hoped for, we know that Leo was comfortable in his last days on Earth. Our deepest thanks for being here for us.” – Joseph
“I want to express my heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation to you, Dot, and the Staff, for the outstanding care my mother, Madeleine, received at your facility. As a former clinician, I have a deep understanding of the complexities involved in a patient such as my mother. While it was a long and difficult struggle, we feel she received the best possible care. If she had any chance, you and your staff gave her that opportunity. While our loss is great and sadness is profound, we take comfort knowing that she had the best possible treatment through her long ordeal. Since you and the staff never had the opportunity to get to know her personality, I am enclosing a copy of her eulogy. It was a pleasure getting to know you and Dot so well, through all of this. You both gave me great strength through a difficult time.” – Douglas
“I can’t begin to tell you how all your staff made such a stressful time for me easier to cope with. When I left every day I knew whoever was the caretaker on duty was giving my husband the best care. I hold very high praises for Fox Subacute Center and will not forget the wonderful treatment and care my husband and I received!” – Selma
“When I first walked into Fox Subacute Center, I was scared and intimidated. I was given a tour by Teri Carden. I remember walking through and all I heard was bells and alarms. I wasn’t very comfortable until I heard a hello and then another hello and before I knew it I was talking to other patients that were here and every seemed happy and content. As the weeks became months I remember thinking how different it was to come here and visit; so relaxed and comfortable at home as much as it could be. All the staff members in all departments have been going above and beyond all of my expectations. Fox Subacute Center has a true devotion to the patients and their families and a desire to see all their patients either progress with their medical care or to sustain the best life possible. The staff goes out of their way to take patients on trips, outings, or simply gather outside to give patients the fantastic feeling of being outside and out of their rooms. It is a lot of work to take one patient outside, let alone 20 patients; but no one seems to mind. I remember thinking this looks like a giant spider web with all the electric cords, oxygen cords, and tanks running everywhere. All of the patients and me were singing along with Elvis, having a blast and not a care in the world for that couple of hours. I couldn’t begin to thank everyone at Fox Subacute Center enough for what they did for my wife and me over two stays at the facility. GOD BLESS THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND ITS PATIENTS.” – Daniel and Geraldine

“There are certain special people in this world, who really care. Who find joy in helping others and who have so much to share.
All of you at Fox Subacute provided much love, thoughtfulness, kindness and true concern for our mother, Dolores. Our mother always told us how good the team at Fox Subacute was and how all of you made her feel very special (like a queen) being a resident there. She enjoyed her new home for 1 year and 2 months.Words cannot express the gratitude, appreciation and love we have in our hearts for Fox Subacute @ Clara Burke. When entering the residence on a daily basis, it opened our eyes to a new world of experiences, dedication and devotion which was shared with the other residents, family members of the residents and the entire staff and became a life altering experience for us, thank you!Respiratory, LPNs, Techs and Activity team were very accommodating to our mother, and was attentive to her needs and ours, professional in the services provided to her and us. Our Mother would say that she was truly blessed to be in a place that was as close to her home environment as possible.Thank you for getting to know her for who she was, a beautiful spirit, a wonderful smile and thoughtful in always wanting to know how each and every one of you were feeling each and every day, regardless of how she was feeling. What a lady! Thank you for knowing her as we knew her.
Last but not least we thank you all for giving us much comfort and peace. We will miss MOM and all of you at Fox Subacute @ Clara Burke.” -The family of Dolores
